Food Hygiene Certificate in Managing Disinfection and Sanitisation

In January 2012, auditions for the BRC (British Trail Consortium) were instructed to conduct their audits against the new global standards, issue 6. Their standards have been developed to enhance the development of the best food safety practice.

On January 3rd 2012, SALSA (Safe and Local Suppliers Approval) also launched into new issue 3 of their audit standards.

Both of these organisations, working in conjunctions with the British Hospitality Association (BHA) and the National Farmers Union (NFN) have added additional requirements and additional emphasis on prerequisite controls, as being fundamental building blocks of all food safety development.
